Eco living at it’s best

Now if Toronto had the same climate as California then I’d be set!  Living Homes make houses with natural, non-toxic and sustainably-derived materials and is built in factories with low construction cost and waste.  These houses leave a small ecological footprint and look truly stylish.

You can try customizing a house here

The cheapest house you can have built is a 3 bedroom, 1232 sq ft home for $179,000 ($145/sq ft).  Here’s an example of one that I customized with a few upgrades.

And here are other fabulous houses that have been built.

West Elm’s Fall Preview

One of the emails that I look forward to receiving are the sneak previews of new items that the stores I love will be releasing.  Here are the items I’m looking forward to seeing at West Elm on July 19th, 2011.

Furniture window shopping

Wow…. I feel so lost here in the blogging world.  I haven’t visited it quite awhile and I hate that.  Life has just taken over my fun side and I truly want to get back into sharing my thoughts and ideas interior decorating and design.  For the first time in a long time I actually had time to walk around different shops in Toronto with my Starbucks non-fat no-foam latte in hand and just drool over all the beautiful furniture and inspiring ideas out there.

Here are some things that caught my eye.
