I’m not saying that the summer is almost over because I would NEVER admit to that. Until it’s too cold to enjoy my rooftop patio without having to layer on clothes, it will still be summer in my mind. But as I am enjoying having cocktails and beer on the rooftop, I’ve started to think about how I will enjoy my cocktails indoors.
I’ve been scouring the net for various bar cart or bar area ideas and it seems that bar carts, well the ones I like, aren’t very cheap. We’ve also been contemplating on finding something that can be used as a bar cart or kitchen island since we have very very limited counter space in our kitchen.
Here are some ideas I found from Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel and Westelm.
I also want one of these small wine fridges.
As for styling the bar, here are some great ideas!

Today, we spent the day strolling along Queen St West with the plan to visit Trinity Bellwoods Park, peruse through furniture stores and to see what new stores, cafes and restaurants have popped up since we’d been there last.
I have to say that either I hadn’t noticed a lot of these cafes and restos before but I was amazed how many new places I discovered. I immediately thought of taking a day off work to spend the day trying out some of these new places. I absolutely LOVE spending hours in a cafe enjoying a latte, sandwich or a treat! People watching brings so much inspiration and motivation to me when it comes to coming up with ideas for decor or event planning or even just picking up some fashion tips.
Destingo, a new Italian restaurant which used to be the home of Pavilion, is definitely one place I need to check out. I love the patio and the decor. I can already see me blogging away with my latte and a whole wheat croissant with Nutella.
Right at the end of our stroll, we discovered Nadege Patisserie and we had to stop to see what treats we could indulge in and these are the treats that caught our eye!
