There should be some kind of “Bags Anonymous” for people are have a serious addiction to bags like myself. I love all men’s and women’s bags including eco friend reusable bags you can buy at the grocery store. I don’t know why but I’ve never blogged about the bags that I’ve seen and loved and probably can’t afford until today. I’ve created a new Category called “Bag Find” so I can share and archive all the bags that give me love at first sight.
Today I came across Archival Clothing actually by 4 degrees of separation. I was on Twitter today and came across a tweet by Design Sponge‘s Grace Bonney about House of Brinson couple Susan and William Brinson. It immediately peaked my curiosity so I checked out the link she provided on the tweet so that I could see the new Brinson creation. As I was reading the blog entry, I decided to check out the House of Brinson website. From there I checked out Susan’s stationary website, as well as, William’s photography website. Flipping through his portfolio, I came across photos of the Archival Rucksack that I really really really want! I love the simplicity, the ruggedness and the vintage feel of the bag and I’m SO GLAD it has 2 small pockets for my cell phone and wallet. Every bag I have must have 2 separate pockets for my cell phone and wallet. I just love keeping things organized in my bag so that I don’t have to rummage through it even just to find my lip balm.
The more I kept browsing through the Archival website, the more I was intrigued by their work and ideas and how their business operates. I couldn’t stop reading their blog and I’m still not done reading it.
I hope one day to find myself in Eugene, Oregon where I could hopefully get a sneak peak of a day in the life of Archival Clothing.
Here are the bags that I long for.
