Pantry makeover idea

I came across a fantastic idea for my pantry. I’ve always wanted a Miele built-in espresso maker, a bar area, and a drinks fridge.

Low and behold, Jardin de ville, on Sherbourne St in Toronto has a perfect little kitchen with all the things I’ve wanted.

Here’s a photo of my pantry and the makeover inspiration.

There should be some kind of “Bags Anonymous” for people are have  a serious addiction to bags like myself.  I love all men’s and women’s bags including eco friend reusable bags you can buy at the grocery store.  I don’t know why but I’ve never blogged about the bags that I’ve seen and loved and probably can’t afford until today. I’ve created a new Category called “Bag Find” so I can share and archive all the bags that give me love at first sight.

Today I came across Archival Clothing actually by 4 degrees of separation.  I was on Twitter today and came across a tweet by Design Sponge‘s Grace Bonney about House of Brinson couple Susan and William Brinson.  It immediately peaked my curiosity so I checked out the link she provided on the tweet so that I could see the new Brinson creation.  As I was reading the blog entry, I decided to check out the House of Brinson website.  From there I checked out Susan’s stationary website, as well as, William’s photography website.  Flipping through his portfolio, I came across photos of the Archival Rucksack that I really really really want!  I love the simplicity, the ruggedness and the vintage feel of the bag and I’m SO GLAD it has 2 small pockets for my cell phone and wallet.  Every bag I have must have 2 separate pockets for my cell phone and wallet.  I just love keeping things organized in my bag so that I don’t have to rummage through it even just to find my lip balm.

The more I kept browsing through the Archival website, the more I was intrigued by their work and ideas and how their business operates.  I couldn’t stop reading their blog and I’m still not done reading it.

I hope one day to find myself in Eugene, Oregon where I could hopefully get a sneak peak of a day in the life of Archival Clothing.

Here are the bags that I long for.

I have the first generate iPad but unfortunately, the better half has claimed it and I am yearning for my own new iPad.  Sadly, you need money to buy new things so I’m SOL!  But I still love finding new iPad cases for my future iPad.

Bunny Williams

I came across Bunny Williams from Lonny Mag‘s Jan/Feb 2011 issue and I checked out her website. STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING!  Every room felt so complete and I just can’t wait until I complete my new home with furniture, art pieces, books, etc from my future travels around the world or even around Toronto.  Here are some of my favourite rooms.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved the colour combination of blue and yellow.  It all started when I first discovered University of Michigan‘s logo when I was a teen.  I was hooked. I wanted a hat, a hooded sweatshirt, a t-shirt, jogging pants, etc all with the U of Michigan’s logo on it.  Even in decor, I’m always drawn to this combination as I find it striking, bright, happy and sophisticated.  There are many different combinations of blue and yellow that I love including shades of gold that compliment any shade of blue.

Love London Loft

On the tv show “Secret Life Of A Call Girl”, Belle has a client who puts her up in a gorgeous loft in London over looking the River Thames, Big Ben and the London Eye. It doesn’t get any better than this.

One of the emails that I look forward to receiving are the sneak previews of new items that the stores I love will be releasing.  Here are the items I’m looking forward to seeing at West Elm on July 19th, 2011.
